You will be alone

You will be alone. The feel of being out there in the vastness of the sea makes you feel small and alone.

The sea is vast, length width and depth, and when you are out there alone or even with somebody you will get this sharp emotion. ”You are floating around as a tiny speck in a giant bucket in the playground of the wind and sea”. You are nothing but yourself and your ship

I like the feeling because like so much else in the world, it actually causes you to think about who you are and what you can do. You are 100% dependable on your self. Alone out there on the big sea.

There is nothing really to this post except that this is a valid feeling and you better start enjoying it because it does not go away when you are sailing. There are stories of crazy seamen that always keep sailing and can’t really be on land. Maybe this is why; they simple grown acostum to being alone and in absolute control of their destiny and course.
